The end of the Cypress Advent Calendar and the plans for the future

Hello, Cypress fans!

We had some fun in December, with a new issue of Cypress Advent email going out each day. Almost 500 people have signed up for the email newsletter, with a daily 30%-40% open rate. Great numbers, if you ask me. Now it is time to think about the next steps.

My wife asked me if I could keep such daily cadence for the whole year - I could, but it would be too much, don’t you think? Thus I propose to keep this Cypress Tips newsletter but publish just a single monthly issue with the latest blog posts, video links, and announcements. Feel free to unsubscribe at any time, but I promise to keep the emails focused on Cypress tips and useful testing information.

In the immediate future, you can catch me at the following events:

• Feb 8-16th 2022 I will be teaching a Smashing Magazine Cypress workshop online. I hope to really make this online workshop interactive to a better learning experience, thus we allocated plenty of time each day to answer questions, work through the exercises, and maybe even do popup quizzes.

• Feb 15-16th 2022 I will do an online presentation for QA Global Summit showing the cypress-data-session plugin in action.

• Feb 23-25th 2022 I am coming (virtually it seems) to the Confoo.CA conference with a couple of talks and a Cypress workshop.
